Hello, I’m Costin Dobrescu. I was born in Bucharest, Romania, where my earliest impressions of the world were formed. Growing up there, I learned to observe life closely and to find meaning in everyday moments. My studies in journalism taught me to listen deeply, to notice the nuances in people’s stories, and to uncover the extraordinary within the ordinary.

When I moved to London, my visual language truly began to take shape. The city’s energy, diversity, and constant movement became a canvas for my work. Photography and video became more than tools—they became my way of communicating what words alone could not express. I was drawn to emotion, light, and the subtle details that often reveal the most profound truths.

My work is guided by authenticity and feeling. I don’t pursue perfection; I pursue truth. Every image I capture and every frame I compose is about connection, atmosphere, and honesty—moments that resonate and linger.
